Our Board Members
Bryant Cato Mayberry is a graduate of Central State University of Wilberforce, Ohio
with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Social Welfare. Cato brings to AAVAG his years of experience of working within the city of Dayton's government; his long term experience of working in higher education and 10 years as Director of the Dayton Black Culture Festival
from July 1994 to 2004.
Curtis Pettis is a graduate of The University of Maryland with a Bachelor of Art Degree in
Business Administration. He also has a Master of Business Administration from Howard University of Washington D. C. Curtis is presently the Executive Director
of Administration and Finance at Central State University in Wilberforce, Ohio and is an adjunct professor for Finance at Central State University.
April Michelle Alford is a graduate of Sinclair Community College and
is pursuing a Bachelor of Science Degree at Wright State University in Organizational Leadership. AAVAG uses her expertise for our social media usage of Facebook, Twitter
Yvette Walker-Dalton is a graduate of Ohio University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree, she also has a Master of Divinity from the San Francisco Theological Seminary. She is also a professional artist, and a retired Art teacher.
. Yvette brings to AAVAG her experience in Education, the business of Art and
Clifford Darrett is a charter member of AAVAG, a professiomal artist and musician. He has an Associate Degree for Electronic Data Processing from Sinclair Community College, Dayton, Ohio, a Bachelor of Science Degree for Business Administration from Central State University and a Master
of Computer Science Degree from the University of Dayton. Clifford is a retiree of Delco Products, General Motors and a veteran of the United States Air Force.
Dwayne Daniel is a charter member of AAVAG, a professiomal artist and Fine Arts Professor at Central State University. He has served as
President of the organization. He has a Fine Art Degree from Central State University and a Masters of Fine Arts from Miami University of Oxford, Ohio.
Gregory Changa Freeman is a graduate of Wilberforce University in Wilberforce, Ohio
and Sinclair Community College of Dayton, Ohio. Gregory brings to AAVAG expertise in public outreach, public event planning, and security of confidential and sensitive documents.
Craig Screven is a graduate of The Ohio State University and a professional artist. Craig brings to AAVAG the expertise of organization
and has served in many capacities of leadership. A diligent worker and volunteer in many of AAVAG's events and workshops, he has also chaired many committees.
Constance "Storme" Johnson, Edd., is a graduate of Central State University
with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration and a Master of Science in Administration from Central Michigan University, and a Doctor of Education in Educational Foundations from the University of Cincinnati.
Storme has served as President of the Board and she also serves on several committees of AAVAG.
Demarus Crawford White is a graduate of Urbana University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management, and a Master of Science Degree from Park University. Demarus brings to AAVAG her area of expertise
in Business Management, Financial Aid, Marketing and Finance.
Jacqueline Gist-Momin a graduate of Branell College of Atlanta, Georgia and Fort Valley State University of Fort Valley, Georgia
with a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration. Jacqueline Brings to AAVAG areas of expertise in Human Resources, fundraising and event planning.
Fred Snead is a graduate of Central State University and the University of Cincinnati. Fred brings to
AAVAG expertise in quality assurance, strong ability to plan, coordinate and control workflow. Fred is a veteran of the United States Army.
